Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. Introduction

Authors are invited to submit original research articles, reviews, and case studies to the International Journal of Art, Social, and Managerial Sciences (IJASMS). Submissions should adhere to the following guidelines to ensure uniformity and quality.

2. Manuscript Preparation

2.1 General Formatting

  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in English.
  • Document Format: Submissions should be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • Font and Spacing: Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced.
  • Margins: Set margins to 1 inch (2.5 cm) on all sides.
  • Page Numbers: Include page numbers in the bottom right corner.
  • Section Headings: Use bold for main headings, italics for subheadings.

2.2 Title Page

  • Title: The title should be concise and informative.
  • Author Information: List all authors' names, affiliations, and email addresses.
  • Corresponding Author: Indicate the corresponding author with an asterisk (*) and provide full contact details.

2.3 Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract: Provide a brief abstract of 150-250 words summarizing the main findings.
  • Keywords: Include 4-6 keywords for indexing purposes.

2.4 Main Text

  • Introduction: Clearly state the purpose and objectives of the study.
  • Methods: Describe the methodology in detail.
  • Results: Present findings with appropriate use of tables and figures.
  • Discussion: Interpret the results, highlighting the significance and implications.
  • Conclusion: Summarize the main points and suggest future research directions.

2.5 References

  • Citation Style: Use APA (American Psychological Association) style for all references.
  • In-Text Citations: Include the author's last name and year of publication (e.g., Smith, 2020).
  • Reference List: List all references alphabetically at the end of the manuscript.

4. Submission Process

  • Online Submission: All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system [link to submission system].
  • Cover Letter: Include a cover letter briefly describing the research and its significance.

5. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers will evaluate the manuscript for originality, significance, methodology, and clarity.
